Privacy policy

This policy explains how SYNAPSE HORIZON GOODS WHOLESALERS L.L.C (“Synapse Horizon”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through synazon.com. We are the controller of that data. Our address is Office C1804, Ontario Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What we collect

• What you enter in our forms: your name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, area of interest, product category, quantity or project size, and your message.
• How you found us: the page you sent the form from, the referring page, and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed.
• Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. To tell people from bots, it processes your IP address and technical signals from your browser.
• Site analytics: we use cookieless, privacy-focused analytics that count page views and performance without setting cookies or building a profile of you.
• Messages you send us directly by email or WhatsApp.

The public site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your data to respond to your enquiry: to answer questions, prepare quotes, and follow up on a project or partnership you asked about. We also use it to keep the forms free of spam and abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Where the EU GDPR applies, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and protecting our site. Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law applies, we process the data you choose to send us in order to respond to your request, and you can withdraw from further contact at any time.

Who we share it with

Your data is shared only as needed to run this site and answer you:

• Cloudflare, our service provider (processor): it hosts the site, stores enquiries in our CRM database, runs the Turnstile spam check and the cookieless Web Analytics, and delivers our internal new-enquiry alert emails, all on our behalf.
• Engineering partners, only when your project needs one and only the details they need to help.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in our own CRM, which runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare operates a global network, so data may be processed outside the UAE. Access to the CRM is limited to our team and protected by a password.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need to keep them longer because of a contract or a legal obligation.

Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, why, and who we share it with, and give you access to it;
• give you your data in a structured, machine-readable format, where the law allows;
• correct inaccurate data or erase data we no longer need;
• restrict or stop processing in the cases the law sets out, including processing for direct marketing; and
• object to decisions based only on automated processing that significantly affect you.

You can also complain to the UAE Data Office. Companies in the DIFC and ADGM free zones follow their own data protection laws.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, where it applies to you, you have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests or used for direct marketing, and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the EU country where you live or work.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The CRM is behind a password with rate-limited sign-in, and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
