Private AI for hospitals, clinics and health providers

Patient records are some of the most sensitive data you hold, and UAE rules generally keep health data inside the country. We supply on-premise AI hardware and our partners deploy open-weight LLMs on it in your own facility, so patient data never leaves your building.

The risk

Why healthcare data should not go to public AI tools

  • Clinicians paste patient notes into public AI tools that may process data abroad

  • Health data sent to a cloud region outside the UAE can breach localisation rules

  • Third-party retention of prompts and files is hard to verify

  • Clinical and administrative systems need strict, auditable access control

Use cases

What teams run on it

Open-weight LLMs deployed by our partners, working on your documents inside your network.

01

Clinical documentation

Draft discharge summaries, referral letters and clinical notes from structured and free-text records. Clinicians review and approve every draft before it is filed.

02

Guideline and protocol search

Ask questions across hospital policies, clinical pathways and formularies, with answers that cite the source document and section.

03

Coding and claims support

Suggest diagnosis and procedure codes from clinical notes for coders to confirm, and check claims for missing information before submission.

04

Patient communication

Prepare plain-language instructions and appointment messages from approved content, reviewed by staff before they are sent.

05

Medical imaging workflows

Run vision models next to your imaging systems for triage and workflow support, keeping images on your own network.

Compliance context

Rules that shape where your data can go

On-premise AI helps support compliance by keeping processing on hardware you control. It does not replace your own legal and compliance assessment.

Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 (ICT in health) and DHA policy

The federal ICT health law and the Dubai Health Authority’s data protection policy restrict transferring protected health information outside the UAE, except under specific exemptions. On-premise AI keeps patient data inside your facility and inside the country.

DoH Abu Dhabi ADHICS standard

The Department of Health’s healthcare information and cyber security standard applies to entities in Abu Dhabi that handle health information. It includes data localisation and cloud security controls, which in-house AI hardware can help support.

This is general information, not legal advice. Rules change and depend on your licence, location and data. Ask your legal or compliance adviser which rules apply to your organisation.

Recommended starting point

Most healthcare teams start with the department bundle

Typically 25–200 users, running open-weight LLMs up to ~70B parameters. Every bundle is quoted to your users, documents and site.

FAQ

Private AI for healthcare: questions

Does patient data leave the hospital?
Not when the platform is configured for on-premise use. The models, the document index and the chat history then run on servers in your own facility, and nothing is sent to a public AI provider. Our partners can also configure the system to run on an isolated network with no internet access.
Can it connect to our medical records system?
Our integration partners connect the platform to document stores and exported records through standard interfaces, subject to your IT and information governance approval. The scope is agreed during the site assessment, and access follows your existing role-based permissions.
Is AI output used for clinical decisions?
The assistant drafts, summarises and searches. Clinicians stay responsible for decisions and review every output. Any clinical use should go through your own governance and, where relevant, regulatory approval. We supply the hardware and our partners deploy the platform.
Which bundle suits a hospital?
A single department or clinic group usually starts with a Department bundle for up to 200 users. Hospital groups serving many departments, or planning imaging workloads and fine-tuning, usually need the Enterprise bundle with liquid cooling and a multi-node cluster.
Is this legal advice?
No. This is general information about health data rules in the UAE. Your information governance and legal teams, and your health regulator, decide what applies to you. Private AI helps support compliance; it does not replace your own assessment.
